Roberts Park

08/17/2009 - 11:30am

We'll meet at the brand-spankin'-new playground at Roberts Park. It's on Skyline Blvd, about a half mile North of where Joaquin Miller Road hits Skyline. Pay the friendly parking machine,$5.00 in ones, a five, or quarters, at the kiosk, then look for the playground on the left, up the hill just above the pool (which doesn't open until 3:30 on that day).

Map  If you get to chabot space and science center you went too far.

Pier 39

08/10/2009 - 11:30am

Take the bart into the city, walk or muni to pier 39.  Nice play structure just below the shops at pier 39.  We then go explore the sights, Goldman and his robotic moves, sea lions, i think you can still buy a swatch watch, and have lunch at an overpriced restaurant with chowder, sourdough, and beer.
